In 2009, Mai-britt and Morten Seaton merged their skills to start the eyewear company, Monkeyglasses. They were the two first- movers in thinking sustainably in the eyewear industry, where they have worked hard to be able to make glasses from sustainable materials and packaging without plastic.
Monkeyglasses’ unique products show concern for both the environment, as well as the people involved in their production. Their frames are developed from biodegradable cotton acetate, stainless steel, and repurposed production waste.
